As you may be aware, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will conduct a national test of its emergency alert systems this Wednesday, October 4th at approximately 11:20 a.m. This means that emergency messages will be transmitted to all radios, televisions, and cell phones nationwide during our regular school day.
With advanced notification to our students, we do not anticipate this brief test to cause major disruptions at our schools. As always, students will be expected to adhere to their school’s guidelines around cell phone usage. Checkout our webpage for more information about our emergency communications plan.
